CLEAN SWEEP FOR TEAM USA IN THE MORNING SESSION!

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP Welcome to the Task Force Era baby! What a morning for Team USA at the Ryder Cup. NOBODY saw that coming. Nobody. We were all just hoping for a couple points to start off this new and (hopefully) improved Team USA. Instead we swept the fuck outta those stupid Europeans. I think most people expected Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed to fair well despite playing a tough twosome in Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose. They were first off the tee in the morning and almost made it look too easy against Rose and Stenson. Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar had the dominating performance of the day though. They stuffed Ryder Cup veteran Lee Westwood and Ryder Cup rookie Thomas Pieters into a locker and never looked back.5&4.  Pieters looked COMPLETELY overwhelmed by the rowdy American crowd who cheered his every miss. It was great. The crowds are insane out there.

The two most shocking matches came between Phil/Rickie vs Rory/Andy Sullivan and Zach Johnson/Jimmy Walker and Sergio Garcia/Martin Kaymer. Most people probably thought getting a half point out of Johnson/Walker would’ve been a win. Sergio and Kayner were 1UP through 11 but then Johnson and Walker came outta nowhere, won 5 straight holes and won 4&2. Cedar Rapids, Iowa stand up! Phil’s driver was all over the place per usual in their match vs Rory and Sullivan but him and Rickie can back after being 2 down through 14 to win 1UP. Rickie’s first Ryder Cup match win of his career. Rickie actually seemed pretty emotional in the interview with Phil afterwards. Just a dominating performance from the Americans. You can’t have a better morning than they just had.

We don’t wanna get too far ahead of ourselves. LOTS of golf left but 4-0 is obviously how you wanna start.
